Teams that absolutely control their own destiny

LSU, Ohio St, Clemson

Teams that most likely control their own destiny

Georgia

Teams that must win out, and get help to have a chance

Bama, Utah, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Baylor

Changes after week 11:

- Auburn removed off dark horse list
- Minnesota/Baylor bumped down to teams that must win out, and get help.
- Michigan and Wisconsin added to dark horse list.

Changes after week 12:

- Oregon moves off the list to dark horse candidate.
- Penn St off the list to dark horse candidate.

I don’t understand why they lump Oregon in the same category as Bama. If Oregon wins out, they will have beaten top ten ranked Utah in the conference championship game, and be the winner of 12 straight games. It’s laughable to think that Bama deserves to mentioned in the same sentence with them.

Beating a three loss Auburn team (if UGA beats AU) is equal to Oregon winning 12 straight games and their conference championship?

Maybe in Bama’s bizarro universe it is, but not in the real world, at least it shouldn’t be.

Don’t feel like getting blasted by the rant but I do wonder if we would get in even with a loss to Georgia in the SECCG. No I don’t think we will, but would it result in 2 SEC teams in the playoffs or us getting left out. I would be pissed if we lost a close one and got left out with our SOS.

I love this article about playing nobodies and still getting high marks and accolades from the committee.

There’s more to life than strength of schedule

Especially this part:
Valor is a lie. Get buckets. Invest in smiles. Leave an inflated mark on history. Win. Play nobody.

SOS be damned!

Um yeah. First game of the season, missing most of their WRs, and lost in the final seconds to an Auburn team that was ranked in the top 10 at the time. If Bama can whitewash over losing at home after being favored by 6, then surely the committee can forgive Oregon’s loss on a neural field, right? I mean it’s only fair. Beating a 3-loss unranked Auburn team (they won’t be ranked if UGA beats them) should get Bama nada.

If Minnesota wins out, they'll be in. That's not up for debate. That'll have them with a win over Penn State and Ohio State, a Big 10 title, and an undefeated season.

ZERO chance that would be left out.

LSU, Ohio State, Minny, Clemson, and UGA control their destiny

Oklahoma, Utah, Baylor and Oregon dont quite fully control it

Bama needs chaos

Unfortunately, I feel like chaos is coming.

So many of the top 15 teams matchup with each other in the next few weeks.

And wins over Iowa/Wisky. They'd have 4 top 25 wins
