Sure, he gives the obligatory "Aranda does a good job, but.."

I get the feeling there is some friction there. I can't believe he said ANYTHING so negative of a defense who did its job marvelously.

Yeah it's crazy to blame the defense here.
Offense was coached scared and the QB couldn't execute. There's the difference in the game.

....for four quarters. He's correct. They broke down in the fourth quarter. I know alot of that has to do with the offense not extending drives, but he is correct. Beckwith was in position to make the tackle but he missed.

He could just be holding them to a high standard

Or he could just be going the way of Miles

Idk

I've been hoping people keep in perspective his head coaching history at Ole Miss.

Sure, people change. However, I simply don't think our program is at a point where we can make that kind of gamble. I still say let O finish out the season, but then all options need to be on the table.

This will be a critical offseason for LSU's future.

Defense was/is awesome.

This team needs some Oline esp tackles and a QB that will not wilt under fire. No one on the roster fits the bill.

If he said that I don't agree with him on this one. You are not gonna execute and tackle, wrap up Alabama play makers in the 4th quarter when you are frickin tired. His offense played terrible and went in and out causing the defense to have to stay on the field. I don't care who you are, no one is Superman, you will get tired.

The game almost seemed scripted to the 2012 game. Defense plays lights out for entire game but breaks down with defenders missing assignments or tackles when they otherwise played mistake free all game.

This is tell the truth Monday.

How about more context, for example what he said about the offense.

Anyone who thinks this statement is him pinning the entire loss on the defense needs to take a chill pill.

Even if he's not pinning it on them it's a monumentally stupid thing to say. They gave up 0 through 3 quarters and 10 for the game.

They did their job.

Can we have some context? Did he mention the offense? What else has he said? Judging one sentence in a presser is pretty ridiculous without the whole transcript.

He just said the reason Guice didn't get more carries is because the game plan called for LF to get more carries. WTF how is this different from Miles bs philosophy? Keep doing the same shite that doesn't work because the game plan called for it.

He's been VERY complimentary of Aranda. Was talking about the spread offense being a staple of college football. Said 'those spread coaches are here to stay. They are averaging 40-45 points per game until they come up against Dave Aranda!'
