Well I guess it makes sense now why the players and coaches are all douchebags. Apparently it’s built into the whole damn system.

No that’s where it ended, he got tossed when he threw up the 3 fingers.

He explained that they had already been warned for arguing balls and strikes. He admitted that he heard the warning. When he then threw up 3 fingers to continue arguing balls and strikes he was ejected.

Stop sucking his dick. You can clearly see him say you missed 3 calls.

Yes you can but after the ump refused twice to answer him about the warning. Both the ump and coach were wrong and it should not have escalated.

Assuming you mean "ejections" all I can say is I think I see the root of the problem...

"De-escalation"?

Was someone first, escalated? If so, you can't. If you escalate on balls and strikes with the umpire, you no get to stay.

This sounds so weak. De-escalation. Sorry. That's my $.02.

It’s definitely about professionalism. It’s about the coach being unprofessional.

I guess they are trying to keep the coach by backing him, but wow.

Yes, coach and ump both wrong. If the ump just answered him when he asked why the warning came instead of big timing him with the go back to the dugout, it wouldn’t have escalated.

I agree there. I don’t think he should have been ejected.

I’m just telling you he himself said he heard the warning and STILL proceeded to argue balls and strikes after the warning with the 3 fingers.

you obviously didn’t watch his press conference - he admitted to holding up 3 fingers and saying to the umpire you missed 3 already. Pay attention !

And you obviously aren’t reading the timing of the escalation based on the ump not answering his question. The three fingers came after the ump was being a dick and unprofessional.

You’re still arguing about this? The ejection was 100% on the coach. The umpire answered him. The coach kept on. Had he shut up and walked back in the dugout, it’s over. But he kept on because the umpire shooed him (coach’s words). His ego got the best of him.

And just randomly held 3 fingers in the air for no reason? Come on now

Well after he asked twice why they received a warning. Neither the coach or the ump tried to de-escalate which should be priority 1 in a natty.

The fake narrative continues. I’m no fan of CC or the coach, but this isn’t what that was about. It was about a bench warning that escalated to ejection. Poorly handled by the coach and the ump.

Don't come ruin this thread with your shitty take too please.

I thought he told the ump.you missed 3 doing calls

Not your honor may I approach the bench and inquire about warning sir

Also you can blame hair trigger in one coach getting kicked but other coach should have read the room

Not that it matters much but is he suspended for the first two games of 2026?

Bitchy statement, but they are dead on about NCAA umpire needing to be evaluated and better trained. They are thin skinned jokes that suck at making correct calls.
