Cam Cameron with Drew Brees:
Yards YPG TD INT
2002 - 3,284 205.2 17 16
2003 - 2,108 191.6 11 15 (11 Games)
2004 - 3,159 210.6 27 7 (15 Games)
2005 - 3,576 223.5 24 15

CC with Philip Rivers
Yards YPG TD INT
2006 - 3,388 211.8 22 9 (Third Year with SD)

CC with Joe Flacco
Yards YPG TD INT
2008 - 2,971 185.7 14 12
2009 - 3,613 225.8 21 12
2010 - 3,622 226.4 25 10
2011 - 3,610 225.6 20 12
2012 - 3,817 238.6 22 10

This guy can develop QBs, so all those out there that want to say otherwise, this is for you.

Not saying he is a great offensive mind, but he does know how to bring along QBs.

There was an obvious improvement from 2012 to 2013 with Mett.

Maybe Harris can have the same improvement?

Although Mett did get better during the season of 2012, while Harris regressed.

The issue is those guys were already pro's who had been through college and were already developed to a degree. Can he develop one from scratch ie high school to college level. That is the real question.

I don't care about NFL success.

Can he put college quarterbacks in the best position to succeed? I'm not really sold.

Yes there was, but the guy was a senior and had an NFL offense behind him lol

Antwaan Randle El became the first player in NCAA Division I history to pass for 40 career touchdowns and score 40 career rushing touchdowns. -Wikipedia

highly doubtful.

Mett improved from 2012-13 because he went from Stud to Cam as OC. Stud's offense was dreadful, so I'd argue that any legit OC would've gotten better production from Mett.

Harris has already been in Cam's system for nearly 2 full years. At this point, some improvement may be possible, but not much.

well he did ok with Drew Brees, Joe Flacco, and Philip Rivers (actually don't see a lot of improvement in those stats from year to year) but we don't have QB's anything like those guys. So far with the QB's he's had to work with at LSU he hasn't done' much.

Look at year 1 and then year 2 of Brees and Flacco.

We need a white QB just say it

It's cool I'm black and I think so also our offense isn't gonna work for dual threats that aren't already good on the pocket. He can't create pocket awareness and accuracy.

Not really.

Mett was very polished. He just had Strudrawa calling plays. Mett went to the JUCO national title game I believe and had obscene stats. He also had Richt and Bobo coaching him for a bit before LSU.

ETA:

He was tied with Aaron Murray in camp at UGA then did this at Butler CC:

quote:

In his lone season at Butler, he threw for 2,678 yards passing yards with 32 touchdowns and four interceptions. He led Butler to an 11-1 record and the JUCO National Championship game.

Mett was an elite and polished Pro-Style talent.

I don't see what race has to do with it. He developed Antwaan Randle El at Indiana.

If Cameron is kept, it is pretty simile:

--> GET A QB COACH - just to work with QBs mechanics, thought process, reading the D

It is fing ridiculous we can't put a competent QB on the field.

No he didn't. Mett was at Georgia and in JC before he came to LSU. The only quarterbacks that have been developed from scratch under Miles and his OC's and played substantial time are Lee, Jefferson, Jennings, and Harris. Think about that for a minute.

I think Harris had his confidence shattered against Bama. I'm hopeful during the offseason, they can build off his early success from this year and make him better. It's way too soon to say Cam is not capable of developing Harris.
