Best assets are his hips

Based on potential? Not production
Not a knock on him he is still relatively inexperienced. He’s shown flashes but is still very inconsistent

They cover all the bases-
They cover all the bases-
quote:
5. Grant Delpit, DB, LSU
6. Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama
13. K'Lavon Chaisson, EDGE, LSU
29. Joe Burrow, QB, LSU

Just so long as none of them get their careers sunk by being stuck on the Saints I’ll be happy.
I mean, there are worse franchises out there with LSU players on the roster.

Hopefully Burrow finds himself in Tennessee. The Titans could use a QB and I need a reason to pull for the home team.

I would love to see Burrow pull an Eli and the Chargers trade him to the Saints

This is why I think this D still has a ton of potential to be much better even though we're 6 games in. 3 projected 1st rounders on D, Derrick Stingely who is a future 1st rounder and Lawrence, Phillips and Jacobs who I think will get a shot in the NFL. If they can stay healthy and gel, LSU would be a truly scary team with this offense.

Fulton is definitely a first rounder imo
i just don't know what everyone else is seeing that i'm not... not saying he's a terrible player or anything, but i just don't see him as 1st round material...
kid is going to test off the charts, he's athletic as frick, but on the field, i just really haven't seen him do anything to warrant a 1st round pick... i know it's more about what his potential is, and teams are willing to bet on that athleticism and potential, but i dunno...

Makes one wonder if he has a sandbag strategy to go to a better team.
I know, I know....money

I have a feeling you don't know who you are arguing with.

i really don't give a frick one way or the other... i didn't shite on the guy, at all, just said i don't see him as a 1st rounder...
i'll say this much, he's a very character dude, and i applaud the dude's dad for raising him as he did, as he did a very good job...
but at the end of the day, i stick by my words... i just haven't seen enough from him, yet, to warrant 1st round... 2nd round, for sure, and i think he'll end up a great nickel for someone, much in the mold of Jalen Mills, who's had a pretty good little career, but yeah...

What exactly did you watch last year?
quote:
The combined stat line for #LSU CB Kristian Fulton when targeted in coverage last year vs the following WRs:
Jerry Jeudy [Bama]
Henry Ruggs [Bama]
Terry Godwin [UGA]
Mecole Hardman [UGA]
Van Jefferson [Florida]
Darius Slayton [Auburn]
9 Targets
1 Reception
5 Yards

cool, now do this year...
and fwiw, i HOPE he goes 1st round... that'd be great... but from what i can see, so far, he's being outplayed, vastly, by a true freshman... so, does this equate to a 1st rounder? i dunno... maybe, maybe not... i'm just giving my opinion, which i realize not everyone will agree with, but still, it's my opinion... i haven't disparaged or denigrated the guy ONE bit...

From PFF:
quote:
Fulton was magnificent as a junior for the Tigers. He allowed just six combined first downs and touchdowns in 2018, according to Pro Football Focus, the lowest mark among corners returning for the 2019 season, and had nine pass deflections and an interception as a junior.

Good luck with that scouting career.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Burrow is first QB taken, his combination of talent, work ethic, and leadership may similar to Brees with better height.

if i'm looking at the CBs and i have Fulton on one side, and Terrence Alexander or Kary Vincent on the other, i'm probably going to throw away from Fulton.... he's clearly the better CB in the conversation...
again, i'm not saying the kid aint worth the shite.... the kid is good... but we are debating just how good he is/can become, and where he's projected to be taken...
