So....1 yr postseason ban and 1 scholarship per year for 3 years.... and that assistant coach went to prison??? Yeah I think we’re just fine. You got one instance of “a strong arse offer” with no defined dollar amount, and no proof that said offer was accepted. There is no additional violations, the Smart family was investigated and cleared, Naz denied ever receiving anything in his 10 months.
So what do they have?
If that’s all they have, then the penalty can’t be much

While I agree with the sentiment of what you're saying, don't forget that the NCAA will wildly and capriciously apply different sanctions without even looking to past decisions. Precedent means nothing to them.

The perception of impropriety does not mean it is proven.

Until they have herd evidence that a player received significant illegal benefits documented, then this stuff is worthless.

But, there seems to be more and more information coming out that a "letter" is forthcoming from the NCAA.

Yes...in a court of law. However, the NCAA is NOT a court of law.

Wrong. If they (NCAA) interview someone (anyone) and they indicate knowledge/details of WW's offer, then WW is done.

We get it. He’s on tape discussing an offer. Admitting he made an offer. I doubt it’s enough to get much more than what Oklahoma Lite got. For fricks sake, shut up.

That is Wade's explanation to the NCAA. Assuming no money trail, (and there is no way in HELL LSU would have played Smart or Reid with them being ruled ineligible), denials from all parties, what evidence is there against LSU?

Are you kidding? All the NCAA needs is literally anyone with (1st, 2nd or 3rd hand) information concerning WW's offer. The NCAA will (and probably already have) accept that as evidence.

It is worth commenting that there is no NCAA investigation of Texas Southern's basketball program.

However, Dick has been wrong already about reporting that LSU had received a notice of allegations from the NCAA when LSU officials came out and said so.

This might mean something if others had not been saying the same thing.

I am just responding to your buddies (the ones who think like you) who think the NCAA has "nothing."

Where have I said they have nothing? They have audio tapes of him discussing an offer. We all heard it. Quit being argumentative with zero facts, dumbfrick
