Good work on pulling those classes in a more difficult situation…doesn’t account for choking his arse off in the postseason.

Yeah, no one questions his recruiting. He has choked numerous times with home field and talent advantages. His post season resume is downright awful if you think about it. Ole miss fans are even tired of it.

McDonnell or Godwin and I’m jacked up, let’s do it.

Time to all unify and get Dan the job.

The Vitello folks just have to realize it’s not happening and join in.

I'm still a Godwin guy. But, I really didn't think McDonnell and Corbin would be in play. I still don't think Vitello is in play, and I'm not as high on him anyway, but it wouldn't surprise me. I would be fine with Bianco.

My top 3 has always been McDonnell, Vitello, and Godwin.

If McDonnell is showing interest, fricking get him.

Just a personal preference.

I wouldn't mind Godwin or McDonnell. If A&M was able to pull Schloss, we should be able to pull DMC.

Not questioning the preference at all, just curious what the reasons are behind it. I like both of them, too.

If we've learned anything it's that Woodward goes straight to the top when looking for new coaches. He did it with Jimbo at A&M, he did it with Mulkey and he's doing it now with Corbin. All these other names are background noise and due diligence in case Corbin says no. The entire Casey thing may have just been the dude wanting to get his name back out there and LSU might have just met with him as a courtesy. O'Sullivan probably wanted the job but when LSU didn't reciprocate the interest right away he bolted. We all just need to wait as much as we all hate to do so.

Perhaps there's a reason for that. Woody keeping it under tight wraps.

It's a personal preference. I just like the guy. Ok? Ok. But, I'll offer one little nugget - he'd be fantastic with catchers, both recruiting the 2-way guys (hit/defense) and developing them into that. I'm not going to go on about the other things he's good at. It's really just a personal preference.
