Play the game if torrential rain is NOT on the agenda.

Remember what happened with the weather and Northwestern State?

There is nothing to be gained by LSU in a stop and start dental visit of a game a few days before Arky comes in.

And it’s also true that booking Grambling and really any other Louisiana team is a magnanimous act by the states flagship university. An opportunity as well. The weather likely would not hold for 3 hours.

Weird melt. The game was useless this late in the season.

It isn't a melt, this is normal for him. He is a freaking idiot.

Good example but that's kind of an outlier year with 2 of the top 4 teams in the conference standings having RPIs of 25 and 41.

That's not the case here. The top 8 teams in the conference all have RPIs in the top 14. 7 of them have predicted RPIs in the top 11. That's 7 SEC teams who have RPIs that can justify a top 8 seed. The only one that doesn't is Tennessee but they have Vandy, Arky, and the SECt left on the schedule. If they win enough of those games to finish top 4 in the conference then you can bet their RPI will be high enough too. There's no outlier teams this year like LSU and Arkansas were in 2022. Everyone's RPI is already good enough. I think the committee just sees a really bad RPI as an excuse to throw out a fringe/bubble team when all else is equal. That can't happen here

You haven’t watched any college baseball game from start to finish that didn’t involve LSU.

Shut up

I’m glad the game in cancelled. GSU pitched a guy a year or two ago who was throwing some pitches 68 mph. We don’t need that going into a series with Arky.

But the Yankee Stadium bandbox makes Austin Wells look like a slugger.
