Canada wasn't as good as we thought and Ensminger won't be as bad as we think

there's a lot of "groupthink" on this board and, in this case, I think the "wide open spread attack people" and the "advanced pro style people" are actually in concert(for a change).

I was definitely for giving Canada another year but it appears he screwed the pooch with his boss by orchestrating a terrible start and then commiting some form of insubordination by going over O's head with his complaints. my hopes for a non predictable offense have been dashed.

my second largest concern is QB development. no major team has suffered from lack of top QB play than LSU. it certainly killed Miles and that killed butter teeth at Florida also. it also looks like we will not have a QB coach, once again, so I assume it's going to be Ensminger. I admit to not knowing his capabilities in that area.

what will be the identify of Steve's offense? I don't know but have to assume it will be pro-style similar to what Georgia runs.

if LSU can continue to make strides with upgrading our OL and WR position and with an accurate QB like Brennan we should be able to field a pretty good offense. ANY type of offense can be shut down; LSU has shut down QB dominated spread attacks a number of times; it really depends on player execution.

all great defenses can scheme to stop the run game. LSU will never move the program up w/o developing a strong passing attack. Ensminger can't be worse than what we've had.
