Or is the rant taking a quote out of context and running with it?

This is the case the majority of the time

He leaves for a HC job, which I don't think a Power 5 team offers. Either he goes the Kiffin route or he's back, imo.

It’s always safe to assume this

No way he’s leaving. Unless he absolutely hates O enough to go coach a lower tier team.

If he was smart, he would prove that he can develop a QB in Narcisse or Brennan and then P5 will come calling

I think it’s he other way around really. I don’t think O is happy with him and his style. He’s just about said as much if you read betweeen the lines

Don't know one way or the other but there seems to be some smoke starting weeks ago.

Reports of O and Canada not getting along
Baton rouge radio personalities saying he won't be back
The answer Ed gave lastnight.

Don't know if any or true but it could be there's definitely reason for concern.

Given his track record he’s definitely a concern to be leaving. I sure hope not for the players. This style of offense won’t click on full cylinders until a few years of running it.

Where there's smoke, there's fire.

Not to mention, given his history it wouldn't exactly be a surprise

If this is the case, I think that it would be a critical, ego driven mistake to send Canada packing.

I agree. It’s been clear since the start O wants to run what USC did in the early 2000s and this ain’t it. He’s said as much even after the Canada hire.

Given the fact that this has happened before with him, it's more of a Canada problem than an O problem. He's had like 4 different jobs in the last 6 years and I know that at least 2 of those previous jobs he couldn't get along with the head coach.

I heard Chris Landry tell Jimmie Ott today on the Tilted Kilt show that he's heard that there is still lingering resentment over the Troy game and the subsequent meeting they had with Alleva. It really sucks. I want Canada to stay on. Apparently, Coach O's interference in the offense during the first half of the Troy game has created hard feelings. Landry said that things have been said by Canada that has gotten back to Orgeron.

The O haters didn't get a LSU loss last night like they hoped, all they could find to complain about was an illadvised timeout. So they took a quote and twisted it to O hate. He simply answered a what if Senario, he answered it honestly and correctly.

Then O is an idiot as many suspected.
