That shite still pisses me off. Clear as day TD called incomplete.

Even the Clemson fans sitting next to me agreed that call was bs
Then they went on to complain the refs were paid off by the SEC and hate Clemson immediately for the rest of the game like two minutes later. Nice people, great road trip; but they’re even worse about the ref thing than we are

I work out and watch highlights sometimes. Just stumbled upon that game the other day and totally forgot the reversed the call. I was so mad all over again.

To think this game was supposed to have playoff implications and we thought LSU was headed there after this win. Makes you hate BK even more and just glad he is gone.

Saying it changed the outcome of the game when we won anyway is dumb though.
And it didn’t change the outcome of the season either. The offense would have sucked regardless of whether that was a touchdown or not. Kelly had already mailed it in effort-wise. It would have made no difference in the big picture.
ETA: It was still a bullshite call and was probably the best play of the season for the offense

That game should’ve kicked started what was suppose to be a special season. Warmed up rocking 1-0 shirts and finally winning a season opener. Impressive 2 out of 4 seasons Brian Kelly was here he managed to give the program one of their worst offensive seasons in program history last year and one of the worst defenses in program history in 2023
