Not really. He's Les Miles incarnate. He's an expensive, colossal, mistake. I have zero confidence he will turn this around, but hope I'm proven wrong. However, in the meantime, we can enjoy our Cheez It Bowl championships.

What exactly do you mean by “turn this around”?

LSU is 6-2, not 2-6.

He's consistent. Les was pretty consistent too. Where is the steady team improvement year over year? We are still a middling SEC team jumping for joy over beating Ole Miss and Arkansas.

There's an excuse to be made every single year. Best case scenario, we'll be breaking in almost an entirely new offense next season. Special teams are not good. We'll lose some key defenders.

Yall need to give up on the 9.5M (not 10M) per year thing. That’s simply not a lot of money in the coaching world anymore.

Go look at the coaches who make $9-10M a year in the country and tell us who you’d want.

Coach Prime doesn't make near that much and is a proven winner

The first two years were spent restocking the talent your boy Orgeron depleted.

Shows you who the smartest guy in the room is...Jimmy Sexton.
Hes the super agent making a killing for driving up the prices for med level talent and taking 3 or 4% from each one to stir up rumors and "supposed other teams " going after coach X.....Remember Miles getting an extension/raise beacuse of the Arky rumors..??

Has a lower winning percentage than Kelly does.

Elite coaches don’t go up 10 points in the first half and then get outscored in the second half by a margin of 31-6. Kelly is trash against AP opponents in road games and his record speaks for itself.

So who do you want?

So many people bitching about problems but not a solution or idea offered.

Where exactly is the talent deficit that's holding this team back? 5* Shelton Sampson has barely touched the field in 2 years. Multiple high ranked DB's that rarely play over Burns and Ryan. Durham barely played for several weeks. Whit Weeks was played sparingly last year for some unknown reason.

It seems like there's an issue with developing talent and letting the best players flourish.

The secondary is full of transfers and castoffs like Burns and Gilbert.

We’re in year 3 and LSU’s best defensive players are either transfers or underclassmen.

That tells you all you need to know.

Kylin Jackson, Joel Rogers, McBryde-Spears, JaJuan Johnson...all highly rated players that have barely played. That's on Jake Olsen, the new safeties coach BK hired.

Once again, underclassmen because your boy gutted the roster en route to LSU’s only losing season in 25 years.

This x100. I definitely have my frustrations with Kelly but every time people act like hiring him was a mistake I’m curious who they would want instead. I admit that I was high on Lane when the search was going on but now I absolutely think BK is a better fit than Lane. Ryan Day would get killed in the SEC. I know Dan Lanning would be a hot name but I’m not sure I’d trust him to be the same in the SEC either. And we’re seeing Deboer at Bama even though he came into a WAYYYYYY better situation than BK. I still believe BK is a top 5 coach.

The depth of shite Orgeron left our program in has been minimized or forgotten by too many on this board. The fact we've been a competitive team since BK got here is a miracle. He made a crucial mistake with Matt House, and that's set back the championship run a couple seasons.

Woodward is one of the best ADs in college and already hired two Natty-winning coaches - thank God he's an LSU and Louisiana man.

For all those bitching about BK and Woodward, I'd love to know who you'd realistically replace them with - give us all a good laugh.
