he's always been bad.

Lyn Rollins call for the Tennessee walkoff last year was 1000x better

This is his biggest problem. I wish he at least tried to correct it

I'm not going to hate but I don't like listening to his baseball calls. He says way too much before saying "ball" or "strike." And makes calls way after crowd reactions.

So I only listen when I have to

Very. I never know during football if we just had a 10 yard rush or tackled at the line of scrimmage

This is the most nonchalant home run call that deserved 1000 pounds of emotion. It was the same thing the following inning when we busted the game open.
I’ll take an imperfect call with passion over a perfect call with no passion. What are we even doing?

Oh, look its the weekly bitch about the announcer post. Can't som eof you miserable fricks just enjoy a series victory over a worthy opponent and a long awaited offensive explosion instead of satisfying your constant thirst for a villain? fricking insufferable.

Hanny should be calling baseball games
Hanny just has a baseball voice always liked when him and Jim would take turns calling an inning.

He’s an outstanding professional.

He’s not a homer.

LSU is a job for him, not a love for him

Just like most coaches and increasingly, most players, he is simply a hired gun.

Does every mama fricking LSU coach, administrator and broadcaster, have their own little band of worshipping and idolizing SYCOPHANTS?

Do you realize the espn plus broadcast on tv was using the radio broadcast?
So that’s why there was pauses.

You can hear the ping of the bat and he waits 3-5 seconds to say foul ball or sharply hit to the SS or whatever. He’s difficult to follow.

Have said this since day one and usually get DV'd for it, but this is spot-on.

Watching the game and listening to his calls makes me wonder if we are watching the same thing sometimes. He'll call a ball almost in the dugout barely foul, or one that is caught on the grass in the outfield as though it barely missed going out.

I'm not a fan

Jack Hunt scores, Jack Hunt scores. Yeah we need more of making the wrong call in a big play moment.

Yeah, give me the professional Homer. He's OUR guy, and he should act like it.
