He didn't possess it completely. He was bobbling as he rolled over after he initially recovered it. Dumbest rule in football at all levels that needs to be changed.

SFP, don't agree, the guy never controlled the ball on the fumble until he was out-of-bounds. Even the the commentator who is a former ref made that point. So, yes UF recovered, but out-of-bounds.

Debo was pushed past the punt returner, otherwise he would have lit him up.

But, we got away with some stuff, i.e. Fournette's first TD (he took off before the snap).

The issue is we let the replay booth look at it over and over for 20 seconds before they blew it dead. we should have quick snapped it.

Bama did it to us on their last drive last year, you snap it quick because replay takes a while to buzz down.

the fumble was a bad move by miles and cam. why the hell allow them time to replay that? It was lucky we didn't get that overturned.

they made the right call. he had slid out of bounds by the time he controlled the football. they should've snapped the damn ball though. I was hollering at the screen for the snap.

we did get away with the lost fumble (that was recovered inbounds), false start on our first TD, and a late DPI that wasn't called

He didn't have control of the ball inbounds. You can't just be touching the ball you know.

I agree right call and it worked out but insane to even risk it by not just snapping it quick. we sat there for 20 or so seconds, when a controversial play goes your way you snap it before it can reviewed

That clear block in the back on Deion Jones made me want to break stuff on the punt return for TD.

I was screaming last night for the flag. Couldn't believe they didn't throw the flag on that, it wasnt a big block, but he had his arm extended right in debo's back pushing him right in front of the ref. No flag, unbelievable...

And of course no one else was in position to make a tackle. Thanks Peveto.

UF had several holds right in front of the ref with no call.

Key was being molested and the ref was looking right at it and nothing.

Id like to see Miles or Bebe get all over the refs about watching for the hold so maybe we can draw a call.

I still think it is amazing to call a hold while the ball is being snapped. I saw the flag come in from the Umpire and knew immediately what that corrupt SOB was doing. Ball was literally being snapped and he just knew he HAD to call holding. HAD TO.

That is one way to prevent LF7 from scoring on the opening drive after Halftime, isn't it?

LOLOL

They make it so obvious sometimes that you just have to laugh at it.

LSU is once again "prime time for TV." The officials pretty much let them play all night - on both sides. Fla. did get a few calls - particularly on pass interference (once in end zone on Dupre) but all-in-all it was another typical SEC battle. Fla. is for REAL! They have speed to burn and play hard every play. LSU has the potential to beat Ala. and win the West. We shall see.....
Great game for the Tigers!

Obvious holding no-calls and no late hit were bad. But the "missed" late PI was damn near criminal.

I know we commit infractions to but you are right. I wonder what would have happened if it were our guy holding an Alabama receivers arm in a critical situation like that. I don't need to answer that.

We will have a 2 week preparation for Bama. But lets hope they don't take WK for granted or we may see a UAB pop up over our heads. Top QB in the country and they have beaten an SEC team this year and lost to Indiana by 3.

I know this was discussed at length last night

It wasn't Ritter's crew and we won. The pass to Chi was PI but it didn't cost us the game. Quit whining and pump some sunshine already.

It all boils down to this. Remember that hands to the face call? Where the tackle did it from start of play to finish? Removed his hands from the face and then replaced them back to the face again? That shows that that shite had been going on all night.

i hope we all agree that our coaches had a massive fricking brainfart after the fumble call...dicking around and calling a play requiring a read

Correct. Then he rolled over and bobbled the ball while he was out of bounds.

Dumbest rule in football ever. Has cost multiple teams at all levels many games/points. This was no different.

That's exactly why it was reversed and FL got the ball. They reviewed it, end of story.
