Agreed, It was the most embarrasing loss since the loss to Bama in the national championship game. When you open the season against a very good team, 'shite can happen' and it did. Now, let's focus on upcoming games and the upcoming cool fall days ahead.

Nobody cares about playing Grambling. Nothing can be gleaned from playing a glorified HS team. These matchups are a letdown.

there is no game 2 this weekend. grambling doesn't count. JD will look all-world against inferior opponents, but these games mean nothing. they only make sense as a scrimmage BEFORE the regular season starts.
all schools with decent administrative staffs act accordingly. these marquee matchups don't work well unlessd you really bring back your team from last year.
