Can we hire Tony as an interim Mike (VI.5) and finish our national search later?

Tony is a local tiger that loves LSU. LSU is his dream habitat. If he is willing to go into the trailer without complaint, we can consider him for promotion to permanent Mike VII.

I am confident in leaving this to the Vet school.
As long as F. King and Alleva are not involved, I am confident a bona fide search is actually underway for an excellent replacement.

2.) you can't just steal a tiger. The owner will never give him up - it's what makes his truck stop "special"

Just my opinion, but I'm not so confident. I believe the noise you're not hearing is F. King giving into PETA...I really don't believe (no sound evidence, mind you) there is a legitimate search ongoing. My gut tells me there won't be a new tiger in the habitat at least until F.King is gone.
