We always have the horses. It’s comes down to coaching.

This is false! There have been many years, since Saban revived Bama, that we have not had the horses. Example: We were not beating Bama with sophomore Lacouture and freshman Godchaux starting on the dline with no one worth a dang backing them up.

I would also argue that there were years we could not compete due to weak QB play.

If the D-Line is dominant against the run and getting after the QB, we can beat anyone.

I think so. They are pretty weak so we should get a series win but PM can blow a series like no one else.

Depends mostly on the offensive line at this point.

Difference between great and elite teams are the Jimmy and Joes

Coaching does matter but when the lights are on in the big games down the stretch and in the playoffs, most times the more talent wins.

Notre Dame, OU, Mich St, Washington all had great coaches

Better worry about the other games leading up to that first.

What is this thing about Bama not having the players? The 2022 draft boards already have a lot more Bama names than almost every other team. They probably still have the top team in terms of talent in the country even with all the graduations. LSU has very few proven players right now and some of the few that we have really did poorly last year after a good 2019.

I seriously do not believe Bryce Young will have the experience he needs

He played some last year in mop-up duty and will have started all the games this next year up until LSU (~7 games). He will be pretty much as experienced as any of our quarterbacks.

The only reason we didn't have the horses last year is because majority of our starters opted out

This is what I'm most excited about. There were years where we only had 1 - 2 guys that even looked like they could play for Bama. Now we have 5+ guys that actually look the part and can make an impact. There isn't an OL in the country that will be able to handle all the bodies we'll throw at them for 4 quarters.

NO! Based on the OL performance in the spring game I don't believe they can (or will) defeat Bama. You need a totally dominating O/L to win NC's.

We have no shot, and anyone who thinks we do based on the information we have as of right now, is a complete idiot.

The bama mystic is gone, at least in the eyes of our players. Our players now know they can stand toe to toe with bama and compete.
What direct evidence do you have that the Bama Mystique (It's not Mystic) is gone and that the football team athletes are confident that they "Can stand toe to toe with Bama and Compete."

The last time I checked, the "Mystique" won 55-17 in Tiger Stadium, in a game that Nick felt a little compassion for his old school and pulled off the dogs. It could have been 75-15 if he wanted to really rub it in.

There's no evidence as of yet that Bama is finished with their reign over the Kingdom......

Eliminate Turnovers and Penalties and you have a shot! If not, forget it!
