Can we all just be honest with ourselves as to what we saw?

We saw a top 5% defense from a personnel and a coaching standpoint.

We saw a bottom 20% offense.

Those are the facts. I want Orgeron to be successful. I really do. However, I saw a team with a nearly 30 point lead at half do nothing but … get starters hurt after the fact. I saw an offense that run run passes. That's what I saw.

I'm not ANTI O. I do, however, think that he looked just like Les Miles this game. Run Run pass. Big lead, play like a puss. Secure the win who cares if it goes from a 30 point lead to a 7 point lead?

I want to see LSU rock it this year and I think they can, but Ed O shat the bed with how he handled a lead. PERIOD. Chaison is hurt and he had no FREAKING business having to be in that game.

The offense was fine. You mofos are only seeing the second half. We were 100% playing conservative because we were going to win if we didn’t turn the ball over.

RedZone offense does need some improvement. Down to the 5 twice and only got 6. If we put up 14 there no one would be complaining

Burrow was poised in the pocket and made good reads. His chemistry with receivers will only improve. Play calling wasn’t amazing but at the very least they are making adjustments on the fly and are willing to pass to set up the run when needed.

Wait, are you mad that we didn't run up the score or that we left the starters in?

WTF !!! You don’t understand football if this is what you gathered. I saw a dominant team performance with first game mistakes that can be fixed.

Not every team played a top defense. Why would you think we were bottom 20?

The fricking game was over and everyone knew it. It was about getting young players experience and avoiding injuries. They would have surrendered if they could.

Yes our offense was not a juggernaut, but you have to be fair in recognizing that the 2nd half strategy was to run the clock out. The goal was protect the ball and kill the clock and we win.

that's some serious ignorance. You should ban yourself. bottom 50% offenses wouldn't score multiple tds on Miami's defense. You don't comprehend this, but Miami has a quality defense.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I have played / watched football since Moby Dick was a minnow. I even watch shite games that most wouldn't even consider watching if that's the only thing on.

I want to see LSU win a national title. I'm sure those who are part of the annual 120 million dollar donations feel the same way. I'm not crucifying Ed O right now, however, i'm not lumping this success on them.

Aranda won this game. Period. Dave Aranda should be LSU's head coach.

You want a guy to be the head coach with Zero head coaching experience? Not to mention a defensive head coach to better the offense

It was far from perfect and I did melt at the way it finished but, after a day thinking about it, I’ll take the W. Barring an utter collapse this week, LSU goes into Auburn 2-0 and the College Football world will be watching. I’ll take it!
