Well, I am anti the O hire, and I think your post and criticism is shite. If this was the SLU game, fine. But we just unexpectedly dominated a top 10 team. Enjoy the win and give O and the team some credit. You expecting total perfection in the first game of the year is sad.

I know this isn't the popular opinion, but if I am Joe A, I'm sending Ed packing and giving Aranda the reigns. His unit won this game. His unit didn't let up. I'm just being real.

Aranda won this game, not Ed O.

One of the most embarrassing thread performances I’ve ever seen. But instead of just shutting the frick up and taking the L, you keep doubling and tripling down. I do admire your commitment to your own dumbassery, though.

Sigh. Jesus h Christ. I guess originality is not at all on anyone’s mind when starting these threads.

I saw an offense that had a ton of potential and a shite ton of people who have never started a CFB game and several the never played in one, so I'll cut them some slack on the drops and blocking issues (vs a really good front 7). I can see the offense playing really good by the UGA game.

With that said, I also hated the conservative attitude in the second half. I remember us doing that in 2010, and LSU almost blowing a 20 point halftime lead, and winning by a great defensive stop in the waning seconds. The stupidity of going conservative there when you've seen plenty of time teams almost come back and win. LSU almost came back and won twice (Mississippi St 2014 and Troy 2017) in recent years because teams decided to get conservative and take out starters in the fourth being down 3 scores. I can understand doing it in the fourth, but starting that before halftime and then continuing throughout the 3rd makes no sense. This was Miami, not a GO5 team.

Looks like we really won't see how this offense truly performs until we face Auburn.

Miami has a good defense. I agree that we sat on the lead too much in the 2nd half, but it was mainly our second team defense and DB’s that gave up that second Miami TD. Chasisson was in the game because it was a 2 scare game and we needed to keep it that way. Hate the injury BTW.
