The problem is that Lacy looked better than all of them.
maybe if you only watched the BCSCG.
Lacy looks like he would be drafted ahead of any of them so far. It's a large group so someone could emerge from the pack.

We did just fine with the RB rotation with Lee at QB. Once JJ got in there, the offense went to hell.
that's some pretty dumb shite being the ypc went up

Maybe if we throw the ball and keep people from stacking the damn box every play then we may be more efficient running.
Yeah cuz LSU's running game was pretty bad this entire year wasn't it?
Never said that, we could be MORE efficient, never said we weren't. Its a pretty basic thing smart arse.

Out of Ware, Blue, Ford, Hillard, Magee, and Jeremy Hill someone or two need to step up and be the man next season. What kind of rythym can you get rotating 4 running backs? Hillard started to look like he might be that guy. Maybe him along with Blue could give us a good versitle duo. Looks like the RB position never really sorted itself out all season. That RB by committee was to big last season.
I would love to see an elite rb in our backfield. Our stable of rb's is nice, but no one would turn down a trent as a starter.

Ok. Having one RB is way better than having fresh legs rotating in and out. That makes perfect ranter sense.
Congratulations and thanks for proving that even losers on "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader" are allowed to post.

that's what i'm saying but everyone is taking it the wrong way. We need one or two backs to emerge from the pack and be elite level RB's. It's possible that Hillard could be that level of back possibly.

No, but you don't need more than two or three rotating in and out to keep them fresh and offer different looks.

I said the offense went to hell. Just look at the last three games. You can cover up for your boy JJ all you want, but he is a large reason why we lost the NC game. This thread is all about you deflecting the criticism off of JJ.

no, this thread is about Running Backs. The season is over. Get off the JJ/JL crack pipe.

Yeah we need an elite RB to step up so our running game won't suck again next season.

I guess we have a nice stable of quarter horses, no thoroughbreds, but nice quarter horses.

What difference does it make if you have 4 guys producing the same as 1 guy?

Obviously an offense running for 220 yards with one back getting 150 of it is much more effective than an offense running for 220 yards spread out among four backs.

Ah ok. Yeah, our running game was the shits this year.
And if a RB that gets 220 yards in a game gets hurt and can't play, then what? See TR in Baton Rouge last year. Good thing there was a Heisman winning RB to go to.
We're good at RB.

I sure hope our special teams can pick it up next year.

All promised pt, all diff skill set. Why not let him play? Rb is one positiin you will never have to worry ab under les miles.
