Good God, the amount of people I have seen with legitimate hatred of the guy is astounding.

You are confusing hating the hire with hating him.

I love coach O. I loved having him on LSU's staff. No hatred of him at all from me.

This is not a popularity contest. The search for a new HC requires a serious business decision to enable our football team to win championships. Stop this stupidity.

Do we have a better chance at winning a national championship going forward than we did at the beginning of the season with Miles and his staff? Yes, we do. This current staff, even without an OC right now, gives us a better chance to win. We hire a bang up OC and we have more reason for optimism than ever before. We weren't winning shite anytime soon with the previous staff.

I'm not so sure about that

What do you have to base this on?

Last time I checked 5-2 didn't get you in the national championship picture.

If those people didn't have an LSU coach to hate, they might accidentally examine their own life and discover the depth of their self-hatred and overall failure in life.

Read meat market and actually research orgeron he isn't the big teddy bear you think he is. People are upset about this hire and rightfully so. A leopard doesn't change his spots o is dirty as they come. And now he doesn't have les keeping on a leash.Don't you think as bad as saban wanted to get in Louisiana he wouldn't have tried to hire him? Fact is saban wants him no where near his program because of how dirty he has been.

It was a brilliant pr campaign him and goebbels ran convienetly ignoring the bad parts of his career. I was done with this hire when news leaked he wanted to bring in kiffin. For once didn't we just get of les for pandering to his buddies and not actually following a process. And second any time kiffin and o get together they leave historic programs in shambles. The reason lane has had success at Bama is saban keeps reigning him in do you really expect orgeron to do that?

I have nothing against him as a person.

I don't think he did anything underhanded to get this job.

I don't think he did anything to get this job., and I think we are going to pay him 3 million to essential do what he was doing last year with less DL coaching and more pregame speeches.

That being said.

I will shite on Alleva for being a dipshit and making this hire till I am proven wrong and O wins some form of championship.
