Can NCAA use FBI wiretaps for evidence?

If wade isn't convicted of anything can the NCAA even use wiretap convos by the FBI to impose sanctions? I'm sure they can do whatever they want, but it seems pretty intrusive to use FBI wiretaps that were investigating someone else.

You people would support a mass murderer if he was wearing a purple shirt.

A lot of meat on that bone for a good attorney to answer

I don't think WW will be answering many if any questions in that trial. He is not a target nor a subject of the FBI investigation. I'll bet his lawyers will try to get the judge to rule WW's testimony irrelevant to the focus of that trial.

The issue is that the FBI is investigating other things than what the NCAA looks for. So it is possible Wade is not a target of the FBI but his testimony or wiretap dialog could be used against him by the NCAA because it is public info. The NCAA does not have the authority to wiretap anyone on their own.

I was thinking about this not 10 minutes ago.
It seems to open up some hairy doors if the NCAA can use any means as evidence in one of their investigations.

Mass murder, he isn't even being investigated by FBI, he is just being brought in as a witness.

That's a lie...unless he was beating Bama in football.

At the first trial, the judge excluded the Will Wade wiretaps, don't think his testimony will be any different.

Sorry, that is considered fraud against the university, and honest services fraud. It does not matter if the university knew about it and looked the other way.

You answered your own question. The NCAA does what they want; normally to schools they can afford to harshly punish to use as an example.
