You don't constantly lose to Alabama and never develope a total Offense (let alone a QB) and expect to hold your job. He made numerous blunderous decisions at LAU and flat out lied saying the Offense was going to change. His loyalty to Cameron was mindboggling

I'm not sure he really wants to (I think he's posturing) and at his age I don't think any school wants to take the chance.

Miles’ run from 2012 until he was fired is still No 2 in the SEC, and one of the top winning percentages in the nation. There is no question the guy can coach.
But his is in his mid 60s and admitted to not being motivated in his interviews last year.

If Tater Tot can coach again, so can Miles.

There have been plenty of job openings. He has made it very clear that he wants to coach again. He hasn't been hired cause quiet frankly he is not a very good coach.

It doesn't work that way.

Les Miles is 64 years old. He is at retirement age, and he is making millions from LSU.
College programs know they have to give a coach at least a three-year contract. They know it can take several years to turn around a program.
In six years, Miles turns 70.
There are a SHITTON of young, up and coming coaches. There are a SHITTON of middle-aged established coaches.
Every new head coaching hire is a risk for an AD. Every single one.
If you're an AD, why in the hell would you hire a coach who is at retirement age to attempt to turn around your program when you know you will be forced to hire a new coach shortly thereafter anyway.
Why take the risk and create more work for yourself?

Alleva had no problem. He grabbed a very successful coach that many schools were seeking who has our program soaring to new heights of achievements.

He will magically get a coaching job after his buyout runs its course.

10/12 of Miles LSU offenses scored more ppg than 2017.

You haters must hate. Anyway continue making yourself miserable because coach O is the coach and each and every time he wins another game at LSU and makes you Negatiger ignoramuses a little more miserable it will bring me great pleasure and joy. Thank you losers for all the pleasure and joy from the bottom of my heart.

Les is just not going to change his ways... end of story.
He is in his 60's and the energy is just not there either... I know, I am his age.
At the end, he seemed to be coasting at LSU.
Now that he got his money. NO .
He may be playing FOX up for more $ as he did our AD.

What are you, a retard? He wouldn't lose a penny. LSU simply deducts the difference from the amount of money he would be paid by the new Job from the amount of money they are paying him. Indeed, that makes it easier for schools to hire him, since LSU is still paying him.
However, he obviously was such an incompetent head coach and laughing stock that schools avoid hiring him like the plague. Moreover, any AD that makes the mega mistake of hiring him in due time would inevitably be fired.
Lots of former head coaches still on the dole from other universities get hired by other institutions all the time because they can pay them less. However, nobody is willing to pay less for Les because he is still not worth it.
Anyway, it looks like the coaching carousel will be humongous this year. So if he still can't get a job after this season, then he never will.

Sounds like Orgeron until retard Alleva lost a bidding war against himself and handed a 12 million dollar buyout to an abject failure of a head coach.

Seek mental help for your severe retardation. Indeed, all the Les Miles lovers/coach O haters are as mentally handicapped as Les Miles, no wonder they hate coach O so much and love the incompetent Les Miles so much. They are all severely miserable human beings because they believe coach O stole Les Miles job away from him.

Why coach O isn't worth a buyout? He's a human being just like your idol Les Miles and a hell of a lot better coach that Les Miles ever was. Damn son, seek mental help for your severe mental retardation.
