Amazing considering he won so many games at LSU and ran a clean program.
How many would hire the current LSU coach?

Have no idea what you mean by the 2nd sentence....
Les was not a horrible coach, ran a nice program, very good recruiter, nice person, but there is also no doubt the "player development" was lagging . Either he could not, or he was not willing to change anything about himself.

It started to manifest itself at the NC game when he stubbornly refused to try anything ... after that, it seems as if he was out to prove that he could do whatever he wanted. I am not sure he ever thought he would be let go for real.

Dude....... what was smiles record here???? You must admit that he could recruit.... his offenses were plain Jane and almost every team knew what was coming and still had trouble stopping it....

After the very last dollar flows from the LSU bank account, he will then and ONLY then make a decision to coach again.

I don't know how any of you who think differently can get any stupider.

no, if Miles wants to coach again, sitting on ice for 4 or 5 years, at his age, isn't going to help.

Besides, Les already has enough money to last many lifetimes. Sure, the buyout is huge, but it's all relative. He's already got probably $10+ million in the bank. A few more is great, but won't change the fact that he (and his children) are already set for life.

If the man wants to coach again, he needs to go get something soon, even at a lesser school (which is honestly all he's going to get). Waiting for the buyout money to stop flowing isn't going to help with a new coaching gig.

How come none of these great big nice SEC football schools want Les Miles?

The answer, "Les Miles can't coach"

Well we are surely about to find out because from the looks of it joining Ole Piss in the coaching search will be A&M and Arky and if Miles does go to anyone of those three he will cause trouble for LSU in recruiting watch and see!

Miles won because of talent, which he had the most of, yet he still underperformed relative to the amount of talent.

And would have still won more games last year that Fat O. Without question he drums UF.

Want to prove me wrong? Go look at the teams that O beat as Interim coach and Look at their FREAKING RUSH DEFENSE. Idiots on here think last year was awesome because we “scored more points”. But for the fact that we beat nobody last year win a decent defense and Most with pathetic offenses including UF.

So where does that leave us today?
I can repost for the morons the collective records of the team we beat versus those we lost to if that helps.
They wanted me “banned” when I did it the other day because it I was the truth.
AU anomaly is the only thing positive about this season.

I guess you slept through the miles years. He did not "drub" hardly anyone. He sat on more leads than a lazy salesman.

He will probably end up at a small school and have an average record.

I said this when he was let go. And there have been opportunities.

Nobody's interested. They didn't really want him when he was here.
