Only reason I can think of that he hasn’t been drafted yet was because his number was too high or the control issues people spoke of.

But damn… 99mph from the left side??!!!

I wouldn't get excited until he takes his name out

Not yet, honestly I wouldn't until draft is over and he doesn't get drafted or goes super late rounds

No.

It's like Fight Club.

Or a No-Hitter.

Or a Perfect Game.

I would wait to make sure someone doesn't drop 3 million in his lap in the 10th

Do the right thing at this point...and bet on yourself, like Dylan Crews did.
The reward is very much worth it!

I’d say be more worried about him settling for half of that because he never really wanted to go to college and 1.5m is too much to pass up

But idk how many teams can realistically pay that to him this far in or not

I guess it depends how hard they work the slot value signings. 3 million was an exaggeration

I’d think he would have signed a while ago if that were the case

Look at any mlb team that drafted a senior early and there is the spot they will save slot value to try and sign a HS player or college so/jr over slot later. Nationals are one with Gavin Dugas

For reference, Nationals drafted 6 seniors as of round 10 pick 285
Slot values
4-102 - 660k
6-165 - 357k
7-195 - 278k
8-225 - 219k
9-255 - 185k
10-285- 172k
Or 1.871m

I mean typically you don’t enter a negotiation to immediately cave when offered substantially less.

So he probably really does want that 3mil…but will he blink when there’s still over a million on the table ?

No, he could also go JUCO.

You can get excited when he pulls out of the draft and steps foot on campus, until then, relax.

I also think you have to contain yourself until Johnson reaches the LSU campus and officially becomes a Tiger.
