He was a coach several times for USA softball. He must be able to do something. Maybe he just can’t teach younger players?

When USA softball wins he doesn't do much. When they lose he decided to re-do everyone's swing in pregame.

Name me one St Amant player that is a national level player? Every St Amat player signed by LSU has never panned out. So I'm listening.

Just because a player can hit in high school, doesn't mean they can hit at the college level. See the Tiger freshman who was one of the top power hitters in high school.

He was the hitting coach for the USA team that put up the worst offensive numbers in a major competition for USA Softball, ever. He tried his darndest to ruin the swings of some of the greatest bats in the game.

Softball under Torina has become stale. Other programs in the SEC have upped their games, and we’ve changed nothing in many years.

True but that really doesn't mean much these days. North DeSoto (4A) went 15-0, 16-1, 11-1, 18-5, and 11-1 in the finals game. Won 2021 and 2022 state championships, set the National HS record for HRs and will most likely 3 peat this year. However, I wouldn't say their coaches are on LSU/SEC level. Public schools don't play private schools in the playoffs these days and some of the scores are ridiculous because of it. Beth needs to do better recruiting and needs to make changes. No reason to keep doing the same thing expecting different results...

As a casual softball fan Beth is just another Pawl/Les. You can feel it everywhere you look. Her reactions, the players reactions
, the fans in the park reactions or lack there of. Everyone knows it and sees it but just like with Pawl and Les the diehards will fight it till the very end because they think if she fails the program has failed. Absolutely the furthest from the truth look around at how the new coaches are doing with LSU’s resources. #itstimebeth
