I believe that the main selling point in promoting Orgeron was the guarantee of keeping Aranda, and that Aranda is essentially our HC-in-waiting.
We couldn't insist that other coaches keep any of our assts, not even Aranda. I'm sure that it was a major sticking point in any/all negotitions we may have had.
So, Orgeron is basically an insurance policy to keep Aranda and I fully expect Aranda to come out of this with full autonomy and hc money. Watch.

Yes, Aranda is a DC that is not interested or ready in being the political leader and working the alumni and media. Aranda is exactly where he needs to be. HC at a big program is about football but just as importantly its about raising money, meeting with donors and alumni and representing the program off of the football field.
This is not the position that we want Aranda in at this point.

You obviously have not, were not ever a manager over anything that has to do with managing a business, which by the way is college football.This guy, CEO, has learned from the best, Pete Carroll & Jimmy Johnson & has done everything to make people proud of being LSU fans. Arranda will be a head coach soon, so enjoy him while he's here. ms Aranda
