I just think social media banter from Kling and Neal having the nerve to go to Alabama says plenty about the team dynamic. Mid season felt like there was internal drama before pitching finally came around.

I don't have a problem with what he said,it just seemed strange to respond with" damn right"
It's not like he was pushed away. As far as we know

That's what's wrong with taking guys who can throw hard, hell, most every pitcher in the SEC throws mid to upper 90's. Kid could throw hard but didn't know how to pitch. Id rather have a guy who throws upper 80's who has command and can locate his pitches.

My official statement:
- Never looked comfortable on the mound but was given his chances.
- He was gonna be a long-term project.
- His best interest would have been better served at LSU rather than bouncing from pitching coach to pitching coach.

WTF are you blabbing about? Kling and Neal aren’t at Bama together and social media banter are you referring to?
Midseason internal drama?? Do you just make shite up?

He missed a comma. Should read as-

All I can find from Kling is he retweeted BN's transfer post

Doesn't Neal just look like a Bammer? He will fit in great.

Kling didn't pan out on the field for us, but there was never any indication he was a problem off the field or in the locker room. I'm not sure where that narrative is coming from.

bottom line, you couldn't even count on Cam Johnson in midweek games where the pressure is far less
if you can't translate it to the field in midweek then odds of you being effective on weekends in SEC are pretty low

The "FUN" gene.

I think Kling saying RMFT on instagram over the Neal news screams sour grapes
Probably not. These guys were teammates, sharing many hours of fun and jokes in the dugout, clubhouse, and socially. It very well could have been an inside joke among former teammates.

Only if it’s a LHP… for some reason imo it seems like nowadays this only plays if it’s coming from a southpaw… like dare I even say it [trigger warning for any Braves fans] but I feel like guys like Greg Maddux would get crushed in this era of baseball… Imo, it just seems like the upper 80’s paint artist type RHP just doesn’t seem to play anymore…
~Sidenote~ Do you remember that LHP Jamie Moyer? Dude was a certified card carrying AARP member and didn’t throw over 80mph, yet he won more games for the Mariners than Randy Johnson… and what’s even crazier about his career, is the fact that he really saw/had the most success during the ‘ROID era…
