Very good summary of what Cameron said during today's press conference:

Cameron sounds very personnel oriented. This bodes well for LSU, which relies on talent over system.

One reporter asked, "Do you have the chest to stand up to the head coach when he is the one that's wrong?"

Cameron laughed before saying, "The bottom line is we're all in it together. Brothers fight like brothers sometimes, but we all know what's the most important thing."

Solid deflection.

and it was not Jaque Doucet

I liked the laugh before "The bottom line is we're all in it together. Brothers fight like brothers sometimes, but we all know what's the most important thing"

Cameron, who stated that he's seen every LSU football game in the last eight years, fielded questions for about eighteen minutes.

In his defense, he's absolutely right. If every single member of the staff doesn't share one common goal, you are in deep shite. They need to find an offensive identity, have everyone buy in, then coach their asses off.

8 years of games?

The CBS broadcasts alone probably took him a good 800 hours

I was watching at the time - didn't come off as "douche-y" at all at the time. Given the fairly common belief among some fans that Miles overrides his OC too often (which I think is overstated but not entirely wrong), it was a perfectly reasonable question to ask. Cam was ready for it and his answer was perfect.

I'm impressed he has followed LSU that closely.
I am also impressed at how well he avoided directly answering direct questions, giving vague, team oriented non responses.
Pro experience.

It's possible he's seen the coaches' tapes, which would only take an hour or so to get through.

The guy is really close with Les. And he probably has scouted a few players that have come through here.

It's not unexpected.

Then maybe he should have asked it in a reasonable way instead of trying to be cure about it. It was a douche move.

If I remember correctly they called for the last question. So it was kinda the last chance for someone to get the question in, that frankly is on a lot of people's minds. I didn't have a problem with it.

So the same question that's been asked by everyone associated with LSU is douche because a reporter asks it? Sorry....but I was glad it was asked and answered the way he answered it.

Whether or not it's bs remains to be seen...
