Some half wit called in and asked Fat Mike "Why did Brian Kelly run off Miles Brennan? We could have used him against FSU."
Fat Mike's response was some quippy drivel and said some coach's lie. Do the blowhards on 870 actually believe this BS?

Mike D would fall on a sword for Coach O. It's one of the only things I dislike about Mike D - he's somewhat irrational when it comes to Coach O.

It's bad enough when you baws get your panties in a wad over what you hear or read by one of the 10 million or so sports commentators, but now you get pissy over what someone says on a radio call in show?

Maybe I wasn't clear, or comprehension is not your strong suit, but I was referring to the cast of personalities @ WWL. Mike did not try to dispel an obvious lie, and just played it off as fact. I could give two shits about the caller, but instead about the so called experts promoting a lie.

They didn’t run him off, but they absolutely knew they were not going to be able to protect him in the pocket. And they correctly believed that he would not be the best candidate to run for his life. At the time I thought it was a harbinger of more O-line problems this year. Frankly, I was impressed with Daniels. He held the ball and didn’t make some reads but he runs for his life better than any I’ve seen at LSU, and is a better passer when he knows the coverage. It’s about time we have a Houdini instead if the other team.

Mike D drove me to FM radio. .....he knows every coach, player and manager on a 1st name level. He has 20/20 hindsight.

The WWL post game show is the worst. I listened twice and couldn't take it anymore. Anyone know a good post game show I can listen to?
