I didn't hear it live, birdman, but that's another strike against O for me. He hasn't performed on the field lately, and now he's threatening fans on his radio show. I don't know all his contract details, but that has to be a big no-no.

A guy called in and joked around and Ed got sideways about it. That's understandable. What's not understandable is for him to talk it about it more, making an already awkward situation worse. He's paid a shitload of money and is the face of the LSU football program (for now). He has to be professional, if he values his position.

I didn't have that much of a problem with the sissy blue shirt thing. It was just a good natured ribbing to me. It just looked really bad because he lost the game. The thing tonight was way worse. He shouldn't have responded at all. As funny as I think the call was, the caller was wrong for doing it too. But, as the head coach being the face of the team, he alsolutely cannot take the cheese on this one.

I’ll get crushed for this , but just because a guy starts to lose as a coach of my favorite team doesn’t mean he’s now deserving of having his past brought up .
If you talked shot about him being a woman beater when he was winning then whatever but don’t bring that old shite up only because he’s not winning anymore.
Damn, i didn’t want to take up for this guy ever again but when somebody says he’s a piece of shite and always has been a piece of shite because of his old domestic violence report that he had filed against him, then that kinda gets under my skin. If the guy quit drinking , became a better person/Christian and quit being physical towards family because of that situation primarily, then im not gonna hold that against him for the rest of his life.
And my God, im not gonna do it just because he quit winning, that’s about as fricked up as it gets.
I bring this up in response to the person saying he’s a pos and should be rediculed at every opportunity to do so. You'll get trolls who call in to a coaches' show, no matter what. You have to just ignore them and move on, but O couldn't do that, even when Blair was begging him to do it. You're the face of LSU football, and even ignoring the on-field results, he's not representing LSU in a positive manner. There's plenty of reason to fire him for cause at this point.
