And he's the highest paid employee in the state. He is the face of a multimillion dollar football program. Either say nothing or just laugh it off.
He can't afford to 'talk shite.' He has to be professional, if he takes his job seriously. Instead, he acts like some tough guy and addresses it further, making it worse.

That’s a bit much. He did coach the team during the most entertaining season in my life and was good the years before that. He let success get to his head but he’s not beating woman and getting shite faced now so that shouldn’t be brought up . I want him gone too but that’s as a head coach , as a person I’m not gonna say his name should be ruined. It’s ok to have a little bit of empathy

After listening to the audio, Blair was trying to move past it and get back to football, but O interrupted him to say that, which makes it that much worse. If Woodward is looking to fire O for cause, that's one more thing to add to the pile, on top of the game results.

When Chris attempted to steer him away, which is a professional and appropriate response, he stopped him, and steered back into it, and gave the death threat. Not good.
