lol. What a joke. Lefty on lefty. He could have gotten 10 pitches and he wasn’t going to hit one of them.

I would love to see some coherent opinions / rational for putting Yorke in for that last at bat? Honestly, wtf?

I have been slow to criticize CJJ and I have not picked much on Yorke because he's clearly just not had his best game this year.

All that said, giving him an AB at that moment broke my mind. We still had a chance at that point. But dude is ice cold and has been anything but clutch all season.

If we get another base runner there....but no, another 3-pitch strikeout.

Somebody please make this make sense.

I never have to see Yorke at LSU ever again and that’s a blessing. What a waste of money

Guys like Yorke are sadly examples why boosters will have hesitancy to fork over money in the future.

It is these type things that Jay does that make me shake my head and question his decisions.

Only if you think that Yorke was somehow our first choice.

Don’t forget Simpson hit 33 home runs at high point

And did jack shite against power conference competition.

He was a bad eval.

Yorke and Caraway were post draft scrounging what was left. And they both brought their shitty draft angst attitudes with them.

No scandals. No allegations. Just in there swinging like Bartolo Colon and striking out of three whiffs. Thank you Zack.

I think Jay was sending a message to college baseball humiliating Zorke on three pitches with a man on base in a two run game… don’t come to LSU if you know you’re not up for it even if we offer.

And then he went on to do what JJ hates-swing at 3 straight pitches.

York actually got on base quite a bit.

It was his pop ups and mainly balls getting by him at 1 st that did him in. He definitely lost some confidence and never got it back.

Kyle Peterson brought this up during the game. Jay was getting guys into the game that may/will not play again (at the next level). He said it Jay's way of showing respect.

I think Jay knew the season was over and wanted to do what he thought was a send off.

Everyone has an opinion but I would like to think he was doing this as a send off.

Did you see our starting lineup? Not exactly striking fear into anyone, and we had no bench to pinch hit. Yorke is one guy that if he connected (slim chance) that could put the ball in the seats and get the needed RBIs.

Down eight, I would understand it. Down two with a runner on? Better be no fricking way.

their send off should have been playing in the last home game on Saturday. He started all the seniors
