Not sure if you’ve seen this video analysis or what but I think it reveals a lot about the future of Joe Burrow.

I mean who really knows what will happen in Cincinnati but boy does this analysis speak volumes about his abilities. Especially his QB rating when things don’t go according to plan.

It also gives some good teaching points imo. Enjoy! If you’ve seen it already, check it out one more time. What else you got to do. ??

Burrow is going to start game 1 for a franchise as their #1 pick. He’s already a franchise QB. Only question is if he’ll be a good one. I think he will

Franchise Player
In professional sports, a franchise player is an athlete who is both the best player on their team and one that the team can build their "franchise" around for the foreseeable future. The term may be used alongside a particular position name to describe a player, such as a "franchise quarterback" in American football.

Well there’s no possible way he’s already a franchise quarterback or player just yet but I’m sure they’re hoping he will be. Franchise QB as in he’ll get a long term contract for big bucks, making him the center of the team, no question. Giving him the franchise tag. Like Brees, Brady (at New England), Aaron Rogers, Matt Ryan Etc. This is Burrows first contract, it’s his rookie contact and it’s 4 years. That isn’t a franchise contract.

Now after these first 4 years, if he shows elite NFL QB ability, then Cincinnati will likely, almost certainly put the franchise tag on him, give him stupid money and a lengthy contract with it.

I’m not 100% sure if any of you are the betting type or even if there’s a play on whether Burrow will be a franchise QB in Cincy or at all but if there is, this may be a good bet for those who are into that sort of thing. Kinda like the guy who bet that he would win the Heisman trophy before the year. I’m sure he doesn’t regret that move.

Anyway I thought the video gave some good evaluation of him.

Can yall just imagine if the Bengals become world beaters within 3 years and start wrecking shite? If there's one person on this planet that can save the Bengals despite Mike Brown, its Joe. As soon as their O-line buys in and starts fighting for him because they believe in him its over. Dude is gonna wreak havoc on the league by the time he hangs his cleats up.

I think there is no doubt he will be a franchise player barring a major career threatening injury. Why do I say that with so much certainty? Because we know he has all of the physical tools. Arm is plenty strong enough, he definitely has the wheels and field awareness. The main reason and what separates the average from good and the good from great is work ethic. No one can question that. He has no other option than to succeed and that is because he will harder than anyone on his team.

I have some doubts about my guy Joey. So many of our big plays were our stud receivers just going up and getting 50/50 balls. Surely that's a recipe for disaster at the next level. His arm strength will never allow him to fit balls in to tight windows. His cerebral approach will have to and probably will win the day. GO JO

I think we have all watched enough football to see if a QB has not only the ability but the intangibles to be that leader that other players will lay it on the line for which is everything as fantastic quarterback.

We just were lucky enough to see it and read about it for 2 years that now gave us the knowledge of exactly what it takes.

Joe is the guy and will look good and show signs even if the offensive play caller sucks. Let’s just hope the scheme is a good one and we see Joe have the ability to show he is a Top 5 guy at the position because I believe he can be no doubt in my damn mind. Pulling for him big time and I’m almost as interested in seeing how the Bengals do as my Saints.

This is false. Brees was known for putting balls in tight spots accurately and Joe probably has similar arm strength if not better than a prime Brees.

Burrow almost broke the all time NCAA record for completion percentage. I think there was a little more to it than just throwing the ball up for grabs.

Burrow will end up being viewed as the best QB in the history of the game. He’s already proved it in college.

Right?! Dude throws for 60 tds, breaks almost every damn record possible but yet it’s all because our wideouts won 50/50 balls. Geeet the fuuuck dude is clueless.

Exactly, you can’t rely on that to consistently be accurate. Don’t forget all the advanced metrics that he excelled in. I can’t remember the specifics, but they showed he wasn’t getting bailed out by his receivers. Obviously, the receivers made great plays, but he is greatly exaggerating how often they had to make the play because of a bad throw or Burrow just throwing up 50/50 balls.
