Implying next season appears to be Brennan’s year, he’s ready. Otherwise Joe would have noted there would be tough competition next year.

Yes. Myles Brennan will be our QB the next 2 season.

Myles may arguably be better than Burrow.

Stats may not be there, but Myles has that ‘it’ factor, too.

And I really think he meant the competition for the starting job would START in two years, meaning that Joe thinks Myles Brennan will be the man for 2020-2021.

IMO best thing that happened to Myles is Burrow. MB has not had to be the man yet, while learning and watching under JB.

So that’s... uh.. that’s your argument?

The best statistical QB in SEC history and you think we have a better one sitting 2nd in depth chart

Brennan is 100% the guy. There will be a learning curve no doubt as he's never been a starter in the SEC, but there isn't a throw the kid can't make on the field. He also has a very good grasp of the offense already.

I wonder if he really meant in two years, implying Myles is going to go off and move up on draft boards after the season.

I like that version better than thinking he meant in three years.

He said they will face tough competition battle going into the off season. Not in two years. The QB battle for this current off season is not won yet. MB has the lead but it is not written in stone. I saw the link some where.

If your boy D’Eriq is so good then why isn’t he a priority for teams looking for a QB?

LSU QBs have to prove they have Joes pocket presence.

Last season I thought our offense would be much improved this year and Burrow would be an above average college QB with around 3500 yards and 35 TDs. I was routinely called delusional believing this.

I'm not counting any scenario out. I'm just enjoying the show.

So Myles may be better than the best QB in the history of the sport (statistically)?

My God, we have some deranged posters

"May" does not imply and argument.

Who believed or even suspected Burrow would be Burrow, two years ago when there was competition between four quarterbacks for the starter. Some were still arguing that it would not be Burrow after the spring game.

I hope Brennan learns to throw with some touch. He throws laser beams. Those balls are tough to catch. Qb’s with rocket arms sometimes lean on that and don’t develop great accuracy and timing.

Glad you are back VolTiger. Not everybody was hating on you. When you are dealing with kids with the talent level that we are recruiting now some of them are head cases. Rakim Jarrett and Zach Evans are prime examples. Rakim can’t get LSU off of his mind with his instagram post and Zach Evans. Well I don’t even need to say anything about him. His recruitment speaks for itself. Jordan Burch is still a possibility. Your info on him must have been correct or he would have signed it SC already if that is truly where he wanted to go so I think we still have a shot at him. We have to convince his mama to give him her blessings to leave the state. The only other one that we missed on was Jermaine Burton and his mama told the staff on the morning of ESD that he was all LSU so as a staff that’s all they can go on. Even after all that drama we are sitting at the #5 recruiting class in the country. Thanks for the info you bring. The majority of the people on here appreciate the info you bring so so the ones that have a problem with the info you share doesn’t have to read your post since they don’t believe you. That way they won’t get their panties in a wad
