Joe Burrow on CFP teleconference: Our defense is one of the best in the country and our offense still has room to improve.

Scary thought.

quote:

Burrow on studying #Saints
offense after Brady came: It's getting five guys in the route every play and the ball can go to any person. You have to be on your toes as a defense. That's what makes it so difficult to defend. I'll find a guy. We do a good job of that.

quote:

Burrow on playing for the CFP title in New Orleans: You can pump yourself up and get too excited, but I'm going to try to stay in my routine.

...we’re still chasing the perfect game," Burrow said. "We punted once and we missed a field goal. We try to get 35 and 35 (in each half) and however many yards that is. We’re trying to score every time (we touch it) … we’re chasing that."

People laffed at him last Spring when he said LSU would score 40 - 50 points this upcoming season. Now he's saying LSU is looking for the perfect game, scoring every time the offense has the ball. He's said he could care less about trophies, all he wants is that big fat ring. Any doubters still out there?
