Does the 3rd foot down (which he had) not negate the bullshite surviving the ground rule?

He had control 2 different times while in bounds. Bobbles while sliding on snow after the catch.

No they didn't. That was a clear drop.

He didn't maintain it to the ground. As soon as he hit the ground the ball came loose and the ball was moving before he went out of bounds. Looked like an easy call to me.

It was the correct call but the rule is shitty.

No idea, these rules are too vague and have too many exceptions. That may have been right according to the rules. but it should be simplified. Did you control the ball with 2 feet down? yes then TD simple as that. This controlling it to the ground even if it is out of bounds is ignorant. But that is the way they want rules "vague" so they can control outcome of games.

Yes...not to mention being in the endzone. It should have been a TD IMO

All these woke arse rules for possession take all the fun out of football. That was fantastic throw and catch in the snow. Hope Cincinnati wins, tired of hearing about Buffalo.

There's my former Purple Panther teammate agreeing with me.

He was already engaged before he even had possession of the ball. The defender jarred it loose before he even fell out of bounds. He didn't maintain possession and as soon as he hit the ground it came out. It's an easy call.

The ball was between his legs with neither hand on it, when he hit the ground out of bounds; he then quickly secured it, but he was out of bounds by then, so it was the correct call
