Does anyone think one player will be the difference ? We are about 18 quality starters short of being a contender in reality .
No. A CB, a safety, a center and a WR. If you added an All-SEC level guy at those four positions this team would be dominant.
A great corner would move Zy to CB2, which would fix that position group. Same goes for a hard-nosed safety. The linebackers are very good, and so is the line.
Our WRs are not scaring anyone. If you added a Malik Nabors level guy it would radically change the offense. Now you’d have Anderson and Lacy as role players. And fixing the center would fix the line.

Nuss virtually being zero threat to run has been a huge handicap to the offense this season (he's handicapping his own game too).
It's been a huge liability, especially the last three games where the DEF does not need to leave anyone around the LOS and can flood the passing routes - short & long - with defenders. They rush 4 or occasionally 5 hoping to get a win vs the OL, and squat everyone in the passing lanes.

The Nuss Buss Crew is really quiet as of late. To think they thought he should have started before Daniel last year and some even claimed he would be the Qb by mid season.

Y’all better start cheering your asses off for Nuss the next 2 games plus the bowl game.
If he has great games he might go pro. If he doesn’t you’re seeing him again next year.

Unless Underwood beats him out

Good. Just start the kid immediately in 2025 and take the lumps that come with a freshman. Don’t look back.

That’s not crawfishing **** , I said a qb would help but we need a lot of other players . Reading is your friend dipshit . You are obviously one of the cocksuckers who think the class of 25’ will have us champs in 28’! Yay , 4 years of losing in the meantime .
There have been times in the last few weeks where we've had up to 6 true freshman on the field at the same time. The last recruiting class was very strong and 25 will be as well. 26 is considered loaded for instate talent. If Kelly has done one thing well it's recruit. He's about to start seeing the fruit of that labor.

Didn’t Stingley do this before his fantastic freshman year?

Yes, he did.

Underwood will be eligible to practice with LSU for their bowl prep, but will not be allowed to play in the game.
Wish they'd overturn this rule

A versatile QB who doesn't turn the ball over much vs. having a one-dimensional QB who constantly turns it over makes a huge difference for any team. So yes, it could make a huge difference.
So a Heisman winning QB and two first round receivers? What does that get you? a 9-3 record.
It takes more than that.

You said he was going to Michigan
And there is a very good chance he still could.

If we had this years defense last year we likely win the whole thing.
Edit- And our defense is still below average.

Can he start in the Golden Flake Potato Chip Bowl?

I would just ride with him honestly. Growing pains as a freshman and the ready to roll in ‘26. Gives 2 years for Kelly to fix this thing.

False

Winning the SEC West doesn’t qualify as something good? Ask Michigan and Florida State how hard it is to stay at the top of their game!,

LSU is and should be a better program than either of those schools for the past generation.
Michigan and FSU aren’t the standard.

I remember whenever Derek Stingley Jr did this and Dave Aranda was saying he was the best player on the field.
Would be nice to have a similar comment coming from Joe Sloan re: Bryce
