He didn’t have any contact with his legs, got hit in the face on a tag, may have caused him to land funny on the leg/base.

He never fell... got hit in the head but ran straight through the bag. Don't understand what could have happened

Worst part is, he just got called back on a foul call that was fair, and they wouldn't let CPM challenge (the experimental rule is so vague regarding fair/foul)

May have have landed on the bag funny, and tweaked his knee? Seems more likely you would have an ankle injury that way..

It was not the same knee that the ball hit, it was his right knee last year, ball hit his left knee.

That’s terrible for Bryce but luckily he’s a junior and will have another year if it’s the worst case scenario

Beau is a senior. Bryce redshirted last year, so he has another year of eligibility.

Does anyone have a clip of the groundout to see if he lands wrong. I watched the game but the tag was applied to his head and the knee did not appear to be injured at first glance

Damn. Reminds me of MS State last year. I think it was them. They had 4 pitchers who were knocked out for Tommy John surgery.
