we have been the hottest thing before but never this scorching hot.

its a pretty close argument that our 2000 to 2009 was the best program of that decade. 2 national titles, 3 sec titles, and a sugar bowl.

now this season is easily the best on offense and the best offensive players and coaches we have ever had.

This reminds me of Bama's 2009 BCS win when some Gump poster proclaimed that Nick and the Tide were like the Rolling Stones.

It's about time that the Tigers were the Rolling Stones!

He was on Russillo's podcast last week, and I had no idea he was pretty close with Orgeron.

Go read his book Meat Market about the time he spent with Coach O in Oxford.

I said this after we beat Texas that LSU had become the media darling. Between the emergence of the offense, to Burrow putting on a show to the fascination with the gravelly Cajun running the team, the rest of the country is fascinated with LSU.

The difference now is that we've gone from fascinating to fierce and everyone freaking out about recruiting needs to just chill and let the staff leverage the brand to set us up for sustained dominance. The coaches hit the trail Monday and are working on putting together the best class in LSU history.

These aren't good times. They're great times.
