Britney Spears at Sports/Fred's after LSU Tennessee 2000

We were living in Tiger Plaza and after we tore down the goalposts and made it back to our apartment, we started hearing that Britney Spears was up at Sports/Fred's. After about the 3rd or 4th time hearing this, we walked on over, and sure enough, there she was, with her entourage and body guards. I remember them playing the eminem song talking about her and Christina Aguilera while a bunch of fired up drunkards harrassed the shite out of her. Anybody else up there that night? Easily one of my favorite victories and post game celebration memories.

I met Jose Bautista at Fred’s after the 2013 TAMU game. Guess he was in town for some Marucci tailgate or something. The woman he was with looked like a Spice Girl and he flat out shut me down when I asked if I could get a pic with him.

Saw her at Sports at least twice and not after the Robert Royal catch. Both times they kept her on the patio. Once a bunch of drunks walked around to the street side and started hurling beer bottles into the patio and she left. Another time she came in the bar lip synced and danced to one of her own songs and then peaced the fvck out. She was with her cousin Laura Lynne, who was a golden girl.

Her cousin lived on Burbank on this small condo. I forget the name but it was across from Sterling. My friends live next door and one night I go to their place and Britney and them were all outside. I stood there for a minute waiting on them to answer the door thinking that’s Britney Spears right there. I ended up seeing her there a few times over the years.

Wee Man also used to live at Fred's when they were filming Dukes of Hazzard. I saw Johnny Knoxville at Chimes one night but never at a college bar. Unfortunately never caught Jessica Simpson.

The year the Super Bowl was in Nola and the blackout happened there was a ton of nfl players town.
