I know warp speed, and all that is popular, but for a struggling offensive line, a huddle helps. It gives them time to talk to each other about protections, and how to fix things between plays. When they have to rush and line up, they miss out on all that communication.

The point of no huddle is to keep the defense on its heels, and not give them a lot of opportunity to sub in players. I get that. You can still huddle up. Let the defense sub in based on your subs. Then line up, motion to see if in man, then audible if the play is bad. I think execution would be much better with a huddle.

That’s a no from me dog.

Going fast and keeping the D off balance and not giving them a chance to communicate or substitute will help our OL 10 fold over talking in a huddle.

This is EXACTLY what made the offense clunky in the first 2 games and what they are trying to avoid.

Horrible, Horrible take. Look at the top 5 offenses in CFB. Look at when LSU has had success. All have high tempo no-huddle.

I live up tempo offensive football. It keeps the d on their heels a bit. LSU seems to execute it pretty well

absolutely not. No one should be speaking in a huddle except the QB.

Terrible take, if you huddle you give the Other teams defense the time and ability to substitute between downs in order to adjust and change personnel to down and distance and situation, etc.

If you get a personnel grouping that makes a big play on first down, and you like your grouping vs. what the Defense has on the field, then go no huddle and don't substitute, you dictate to the Defense. That among many things was so good about LSU in 2019, they go out on first down pick it up and then don't substitute and whatever personnel a team had on the field vs. LSU they were stuck with, even if it was tough for them to match up with

I mean you have to adjust protection at the line

Teams don’t show you what they’re doing while you’re in the huddle.

Sure why not.

We get to the line quick only to stare at the sideline for 20 seconds.

At this point, we have a low tempo, no huddle.

It's not like we are changing in and out of a jumbo package. We have basically one personel group type. Our offensive subs aren't fooling anyone.

Our OL is making protection mistakes this is from poor communication.

I just think we should vary our tempo. Warp speed with scripted plays. Then Huddle for a few series. Then tempo. Then warp again.

Only if we're allowed to take the ball with us to draw up the plays.

Going no huddle only helps when you go hurry up and not do the meerkat offense every play.

nah. if you roll to the los fast enough and even if d audibles you do a quick check with me to let the OC audible then snap it. allowing no subs.

if D makes no audible you go with original play from the up tempo.

man in motion is not just for man/zone determination. it is for mismatches and getting off the LOS cleanly like with stack and bunch formations. plus it can be used as a run play action fake.
