The press conference was overall good. Kelly looks at it the right way in terms of expectations and being elite, and specifically what LSU needs to get there. Some really good sound bites overall.

This is what I don't understand. The die hard Kelly people on here will always act like Kelly isn't the fricking boss at all or has anything to do with the defense yet he has a direct line of contact with the coach making 1/5 of Kelly's salary to tell him to get his shite together and run a spy.
We literally beat this same team last year by SPYING Perkins all game

Kelly overthinks games in the SEC. That’s the biggest things I’ve noticed since he came to LSU. He knows the competition is tougher than he’s used to and it clouds his judgement by overthinking it. Just keep it simple!

He says hindsight is 20/20 as if he couldn’t make an immediate adjustment. Avg fan knew what needed to be done. Is he communicating that he doesn’t meddle in play calling?
