This. I really like Nuss and thought he played well for the most part, but his last two plays on that FG drive were terrible. The pass to Anderson was bad and then not calling a TO on such a huge play that he had to know was going to be a penalty with two guys in motion was worse. He’s been around long enough to know you can’t snap the ball with that being 3rd down. It’s an automatic flag and would cancel out making the 1st or a TD. He gave up on any chance we had to score a TD by calling for that snap.

It’s a true statement. Nuss can handle it and knows it himself. He played well but USC kid made the plays when he needed to.
