The only possible reason for waiting is to let House “ leave” on his terms , wich I think is soft on Kelly’s part.

I look at this as professional, not soft. He did it last year with special teams.

He knows the D cost us a shot at the NC….in his 2nd season!

He will hammer it out.

I think Kelly is capable. I also think you miss out on top choices if you wait to long just to make it easier on the current guy.

You don’t think respect and professionalism are important, and make hiring other elite coaches easier?

Saban also lets coaches leave, rather than firing them.

You have a valid point. My point is I think you miss out on top prospects when you delay it for to long.

I’m not a Jordy fan at all, but Hanny said something very similar to him. Moscona said he doesn’t know if House will be fired, which is a change of tune from him saying Saturday that there is no way House is retained. There’s a reason that all of these LSU media guys are changing their stance all of a sudden.

Or, they don’t know shite and are throwing shite at the wall and seeing what sticks?

Coaching is a tight fraternity. They already know.

Maybe House will just be demoted. He will have a hard time getting another coordinator job until he has rebuilt his reputation. He will have to take a position coach job somewhere. He has gotten promoted quickly each time he’s been a position coach, so he may be able to do that well, while allowing someone else to make the defensive adjustments.

The decision has been made that House is gone. Likely has been for some time now. Soft firings are how it’s done these days

2 weeks from now might be the public announcement but we’re already looking. Have been

A Diaco and House combo could happen, but I sure hope not.

LSU fans on TD are convincing themselves and each other that House is about to be relieved as DC. You shouldn’t be doing that, it’s just setting yourselves up to be sorely disappointed. Instead trust Kelly to decide what to do. I think he’s earned that.

Moscona said he was told there would be multiple personnel changes on the defensive staff, but that his source didn’t say whether House would be one of them.

This is basically what I just said.

Is that really a “change of tune?”

Yes. On Saturday after the game he and T-Bob both agreed that there is no way you can put together the worst defense in the history of LSU football and not be fired.

Just because something has not been publicly announced does not mean that the wheels are not in motion behind the scenes.

Do you really believe any of those guys have some kind of inside tip?

Not necessarily. I’ve been on record multiple times saying I think Jordy and Moscona are full of shite.
quote:

They literally have as much knowledge as we do regarding Kelly's intentions for staff changes. Their insights is derived solely from whatever bits and pieces they pick up during his pressers. Anything that comes out of any sports talk guy around here is purely speculation, nothing more nothing less.

You have no clue, just like me. Now whether they are correct or not, we’ll see. But you thinking that you have the same connections or information as those guys is laughable.
quote:

Trust me, if Kelly's plan is to hire a new DC, he’ll go out and get his guy, and once the deal is finalized we will all know when he makes the official announcement.

Wow you’re a real life “source: trust me bro”

I have no clue what will happen just like the rest of the posters on this board. All I was saying that there is a reason that all of Baton Rouge media went from “House is 100% getting fired” to “House might end up being retained” over a two day period. Now we’ll just have to wait and see what actually happens.

We are giving House a chance to find a job and “leave”. That way we don’t pay buyout and his image isn’t as tarred. He won’t be retained.

I agree. His name was mentioned in the past for head coaching jobs. I'm wondering if he will be willing to try for a G5 HC gig.

These media guys don’t know crap and all it takes is one source to be wrong. I remember these same media guys claiming Lane Kiffin was leaving Alabama to be our offensive coordinator.

You cannot believe chit coming out of Moscona’s mouth. Don’t forget he said that Bianco would be the LSU baseball coach when he, Moscona returns from vacation. He tried to crawfish out of that. He does not know chit. He likes for people to think he does.

What’s becoming a joke is assclowns posting every 30 seconds asking WHY WHY WHY is nothing happening the way I want it to just because I said so.

It’s becoming more and more obvious that we do have to absolute dumbest, bitchiest, whinny, and entitled fans around.

But that’s also what he said last night.

So he said the exact same thing.
