BK already donated $1M to TAF for the Football Recovery Center. He does put his money where his mouth is. He is 110% behind LSU and this program.

also passed on $400k in bonuses last year to lock up the new defensive hires

Not only did you spell it wrong, you even used it in the wrong context.

Kelly said for some prospects, "It's not just about finding the right fit ... it's about the most money I can get. That's unfortunate, but it's the world we live in."
Didn’t BK leave ND for $100M?

Does he think the few rich donors at LSU want to throw money down a hole to watch an 8-4 team? They could do that for free.

If you buy a Ferrari for a 3 year old and he crashes it, are you going to keep buying Ferraris

Dude, we gave him a hand-me-down Pinto and he traded that bitch up all the way to a C5.

Sure, it's not quite as powerful as modern vettes, but it's still a hell of a lot better than the shitbox the last guy left him with.

You mean the defensive hires that he had to make because he had to fire his entire original defensive staff that he fricked up? He had to ask donors for $5.7 million in buyout money to fire that defensive staff.

Hi, Jordy. Still mad you're not allowed in the practice facility?

How about we give him a contract at more per year but less overall OR flip the damn industry and make some contracts performance based.

the fans who say we need to pay more etc are probably the ones least willing to donate

Exactly. Look at the "loudest" ones in this board. All they do is complain about everything. You know those type of people aren't going to donate a damn thing.

ND would have matched. He came here because he felt it gave him a better shot at winning a title.

When LSU has someone like Phil Knight donating then he won't need us. But he doesn't, so why are you fricking with him?

BTW, Oregon hasn't won shite despite all the money Knight has put into that college.

He can be the first to step up by taking a paycut.

Honestly money comes with winning and a promising future.

The Grove Collective didn’t take off until Ole Miss experienced success it never had before.

This program has been grossly mismanaged from Ed O to buying Pelini out for 7 mill to hiring the worst defensive staff we’ve had since Mallory and Peveto.

He’s not wrong but fans would be less hesitant to pay more for a better future in year 3

True. The most vocal LSU fans posting here are kids with minimum wage jobs. They own nothing.

Somebody should tell him that donors might be willing to shell out more money for recruits if they weren't also being asked for millions of dollars in buyout money.
