"He's doing what he's asked to do to manage the game. They want to score points, but we have a top-10 defense, so I'm taping the brakes a little bit because of how good our defense is."
kelly sucks

When Brian Kelly gets out the shower, the first thing he does is dry his a-hole. Then he rubs a-hole all over himself because he's an a-hole.

Of course. He's not calling the plays though. He might be helping scheme but he's not the moron behind the PCing duties. Notice when he does do it offense always is much more fluid like last year. I wish he'd just do it and take it away from Sloan. So yeah, it's definitely his fault too. Sloan is too much of a smooth brain to be OCing at a college like LSU though.

Agreed, the offense definitely got better once he had that play sheet in his hands last season. What blows my mind is, how do you walk that back?

"Tapping the brakes" ? I think your driver (Sloan) has pulled the emergency brakes. This guy is clueless.

Yes let’s score less points on purpose.
Posted on 10/1/25 at 11:49 am to TigerFan55555
He needs to take the playcall sheet and headset from Sloan.

This doesn’t line up with what happened at Ole Miss. you ran 39% vs them dropping 8 85%. That’s not game management thats not paying attention. We threw too much vs Ole Miss. they have a bad run D and we don’t try to test it.
Managing the game is running more and not taking chances. You’re confusing bad offense with game managing.

Correct, it’s eerily Miles like

That's just BK trying to make the issue seem like less of a problem and like the low scoring is partly intentional. Our D is good, but we still gave up nearly 500 yards of offense regardless of how pathetic our offense was. Tap the brakes my arse. We need every point we can get. This is the SEC.
And it ain't like we didn't attempt long passes and bombs. We attempted many, but only connected on maybe 1. And we turned the ball over on a dumb decision by Nuss. If you're going to rely on your D to win games, you can have dumb, unforced turnovers on offense.
We're not taping the brakes on offense. Our offense just sucks right now. We're not choosing to not move the ball or pass it around more because we can rely on our D. We're not moving the ball or passing it around more because we can't.

It is most likely the opposite.
When Kelly gets out of the way, we are more fluid.
Just like we don’t get close to scoring until the third drive every game… about the same time the pre-approved script is done.

He hired Sloan and Davis , could have let both go last season but he chose to bring them back.
Playcalling has issues obviously but the Oline issues may be worse.
Ultimately it all falls on Kelley .

So was he the “problem” when the offense was zipping the last few years?
You aren’t making rational sense here.

Some of you are just ignorant .BK wether you like it or not isn’t going to throw his players or coaches under the bus.Yall think it would be better for him just to tell it like it is, my coaches and players suck, it ain’t gonna happen and it shouldn’t.Most of yall think he’s lost the team already if he called them all out publicly you would see Dinardos last team collapse.

Kelly lost me after the Florida tirade and then this pathetic performance last weekend. I know it's 1 loss but it felt like 4 because of how bad we looked. We have the receipts and you're fricking trash. I hate that Woodward gave him so much.

Disagree. Nuss looked horrible and very injured. Rewatch that first 50 yard pass to Thomas. He stopped halfway through throwing motion and lobbed it 35 yards, which was 5 yards underthrown. Other passes he reared back as hard he could to throw a rainbow 40 yard pass. Yes BK playcall sucks, but to say no one else is the problem is just incredibly untrue.

Yep. Besides the lack of experience, he’s either extremely lazy or extremely stupid. He doesn’t even attempt to adjust to what the defense is giving him. And from the start of the game, to the end, the play calling is amateur hour, aside from a few decent plays that he lucks into. Your first drive should be some of your best, most successful plays, on showcase. He either doesn’t take the time to put a play script together, or he’s too stupid to. Either way, he’s got to go. No more learning on the job.
