It’s amazing how long it’s been since LSU has had a competent head coach yet we have won 2 titles since then.

I will never forget coach O last year at the Rotary Club when they asked him about NIL. Hey coach O, what is LSU’s plan with NIL? I don’t know, get with Derek Ponamsky.
Brian Kelly gets with every recruit, talks about a plan they can make for them when they get to campus regarding NIL, and talks to them about paying taxes after you get a deal.

Brian Kelly looks more comfortable as the head coach at LSU
He feels energized by the new challenge
He said the players who left LSU when he took over was because they were not capable of handling the challenge
He doesn’t worry about what other people think as long as he makes the person happy regarding Walker Howard asking him to have fun with him on the video
He talked about Harold Perkins being very thoughtful on his official visit. He didn’t come with his hand out. He asked a lot of questions and how he would be taught at LSU.
He said Kayshon Boutte is being a great teammate doing everything they ask of him and that he didn’t ask for money with his hand out regarding NIL but rather companies going to him.
He talked about education is very important and that a lot of players are making good grades and they call him to tell him about it. He said making good grades in the classroom Carrie’s over to the football field.
He loves Scott Woodward and he is in the football ops building everyday but he never interferes with what they are doing. He said that Woodward loves recruiting and he is always in his ears about a person they need to check out. He said that Woodward being from Baton Rouge is a big help to him and relies on him here locally around the city.

I wish Jacques would have asked him if he ever punched himself in the face to get his team motivated. The look on Kelly's face would have been priceless.
