Sage Ryan is an average SEC DB. He was LSU's 2nd best coverage guy with over 550 snaps, per PFF.
You try and upgrade the position for sure, but you gladly take that guy back.

I disagree. Ryan doesn’t want to tackle, and his coverage skills are far below average, imo.

Of the safeties with over 250 coverage snaps, Ryan was the 12th rated safety in coverage in the SEC this year

2. He said judge him in year three. He only said that because that has usually been when his teams have put it all together. It's obvious this shite is different considering this is the NIL and transfer portal era. He never based that quote specifically on what LSU had on roster. His defensive coaching situations also pushed him back.
