Agreed. We are finally turning tackles into guards instead of the other way around.

Wire at RT does not sound that great.
I’m sure he improved his pass pro or he wouldn’t be starting

I sure hope so. but Wire at RT was a decision they took in the final week of the camp..basically indicating this was the last option.

I like Wire but he’s had a tough time staying healthy. I wonder if he does go down, does Bradford slide out to RT and then Shorts in at RG? Or does Frazier go to RT?

Was Wire the player (one of?) that Davis was talking about phoning it in on the OL??? I think he was always going to the RT and was just being taught a lesson about needing to earn the position every day.

not true. Martinez. Frazier (w/Shorts at OG).

yes- he has a history. Worth noting he's played hurt several times and did well. He has a very quiet toughness. See above for option. My guess is Martinez comes in.

Nah, Wire has always been a hard worker. It took him a while to get there and his So. year it looked like he may have plateaued, but he never stopped doing what was asked of him.

The only surprise is shorts isn’t starting. That’s hopefully more good news on Bradford than shorts not stepping up. LFG

I would actually kind of love it if BK trolls the fans and runs a toss dive the first play

Or... same effect, come out in 10 personnel, send all eligible on flys, and have Daniels do a QB draw right up the gut.

And this is Shorts' final year. I'm sure he was expecting to start. Oh well. Lots of things can happen over the course of a season. Glad to have solid depth.

Kelly said in his press conference that the OL will be the unit that will rotate the most. He said there’s not many of them that can play 72 snaps so there will be a lot of in and outs.

What’s interesting is that Frazier, Dellinger, Bradford, and Wire have all started at LT in college, and Campbell wins the job there. Seems promising that you have 5 LT starters on the oline and a backup with extensive time at LT as well
that is insane. This line should have no trouble getting to the 2nd level

When was the last time LSU had a true freshman starting at LT for the season opener?
